Nufarm Americas, Inc. has entered into a distribution agreement with Nutrichem to market and Goal 2XL and GoalTender herbicides. The marketing rights will transition from Corteva Agriscience to Nufarm in September 2020.
The Goal brands are a logical expansion of Nufarm’s specialty crop herbicide portfolio, which the company plans to strengthen to support the needs of its U.S. channel partners and their growers.
“Goal 2XL and GoalTender are a gold standard among oxyfluorfen formulations, providing residual herbicide programs with staying power up to 10 months,” said Dan Beran, Nufarm technical services director. “This activity can equate to time and cost savings – two factors that make a critical difference in the success of a season.”
Distributors, retailers and growers of cotton, tree nuts, grapes, tree fruit and many vegetable crops can source Goal 2XL and GoalTender from Nufarm this fall to manage dozens of broadleaf weeds and grasses. These herbicides work on contact to deliver post- and pre-emergence control. Both formulations provide strong control of actively growing weeds and form a soil barrier to block establishment of emerging weeds for an extended period of time.
Goal 2XL’s user-friendly emulsifiable concentrate delivers powerful performance, while GoalTender’s water-based formulation holds well to soil and performs at lower rates with less environmental load. All labeled use rates deliver burndown of existing broadleaves and provide long-lasting pre- and post-emergence activity.
Goal 2XL and GoalTender herbicides join existing Nufarm burndown solutions such as Credit Xtreme, Cheetah, Tuscany SC, Grapple and more. Information about the full lineup of Nufarm crop solutions can be found on the company’s website.
