A Letter from BASF Leadership
Innovation is at the core of who we are. We are constantly asking ourselves what we can do to bring something different to our growers — and Texas is at the center of that, in the heart of cotton country. The essence of what we strive for at BASF is quality. Our standards are high because we know yours are — because we know this is your livelihood and cotton legacy.
Research and breeding are the cornerstones of the high-quality seed we provide to growers. We’re honored and excited to continue looking at ways we can help our growers increase bale potential, reduce plant stress, combat pest threats, and increase overall field health through new traits. We’ve entered a huge year at BASF with the introduction of our very own seed trait: Axant™ Flex technology, the first quad-stacked herbicide-resistant package for cotton growers. We’re reinvigorating the brand promise for both high quality and yield performance from our FiberMax® and Stoneville® cotton brands, marrying our legacy with the innovation of tomorrow.
We know you only get one chance to plant. When you pour your seed into the planter, it needs to be of the highest quality. You want the confidence of knowing it can handle whatever the season and mother nature will throw its way. Yield results matter, and knowing how a seed will perform in your farm’s environmental conditions and soil types is essential for success. That’s why doing your homework, knowing your farm, and getting the right products onto the right acres matter.
From seed to store, we’re committed to supporting growers as they work from sunrise through sundown to achieve the best-yielding crop possible, year after year. We’re eager to see where the 2024 season takes us and are honored to partner alongside those in and out of the field as they do the Biggest Job on Earth.
