Cotton Incorporated to Sponsor Annual Cotton and Rice Conference
Cotton Incorporated, the United Soybean Board and the U.S. Rice Producers have signed on as sponsors for the Annual Conservation Systems Cotton & Rice Conference, Southern Corn & Soybean Conference, and the Southern Precision Ag Conference.
The event is scheduled for January 31-February 1, 2012 at the Tunica Convention Center in Tunica, MS.
One objective is to promote U.S. sustainable production through responsible stewardship while acknowledging global market needs.
“Cotton Incorporated and the U.S .Rice Producers Association are looking forward to working with the United Soybean Board during the 2012 conferences. We are honored that the United Soybean Board has joined our efforts to promote the ag industry in the South,” said John LaRose, Chairman of the Conference Steering Committee.
“Cotton, rice, corn and soybean production systems will be the topics. Currently we have 105 speakers lined up. During any given hour, there are over 18 unique breakout sessions to choose from.”
The University of Arkansas, Mississippi State University, University of Missouri, University of Tennessee, LSU Ag Center, Auburn University and Texas A&M are academic co-sponsors.
