NC State: PGR Management Considerations

Side-dressing could help spur vigorous cotton growth, especially with timely rain. According to the NC State Extension cotton team, it’s time to start PGR management plans.

Now that squaring has begun in early planted cotton, many growers are moving ahead with side-dressing. If timely rains continue – according to the North Carolina State Extension cotton team – these treatments could boost vigorous growth of cotton in many areas. And that will mean decisions about early PGR applications.
