Nufarm Receives EPA Registration for Naxypro Brand Insecticides
Naxypro Insecticide and Naxypro Plus Insecticide from Nufarm Americas have received registration by the EPA. Both formulations include Nufarm-registered chlorantraniliprole, known for effective, long-lasting control of lepidopteran pests.
Naxypro (1.69 lb/gal a.i.) is a flexible IPM program tool that works quickly to protect an array of crops for up to three weeks from chewing and sucking pest damage, including codling moth, navel orangeworm, and peach twig borer.
Naxypro Plus (chlorantraniliprole 0.89/lb + bifenthrin 1.33/lb) is a combination insecticide formulated for broad-acre applications, including cotton, soybeans, corn, and cereals, to control lepidoptera such as armyworm, earworm, and soybean looper, plus a range of damaging insects such as aphids, mites, and whiteflies.
Pending registration by the EPA is a proprietary alternative, Naxypro Duo. This unique two-way formulation of chlorantraniliprole and bifenthrin will offer broad-spectrum control for high-value tree nuts, fruit, and vegetable crops with reduced impact to beneficials.
“The Naxypro insecticide portfolio opens the door to channel partners seeking a technical alternative,” said Jeff Wagner, VP of Sales, Crop Protection at Nufarm. “It’s a win for growers across crop markets who need access to dependable chlorantraniliprole solutions with economic upside now, as well as formulation strides that add advantage in years to come.”
Sales of the Naxypro portfolio will begin in January for the 2026 crop year. Additional information is available online.
