ACSA International Cotton Institute Congratulates 2008 Graduates

The 2008 American Cotton Shippers Association (ACSA) International Cotton Institute concluded on July 16 after an eight week program designed to offer basic insight into the aspects of the worldwide cotton industry.

Participants in the program came from all over the world – and all stops along the supply chain – to take part in the institute. The staff of Cotton International Magazine challenged these students to participate in our annual Cotton Essay Contest, in which students were asked to elaborate on their knowledge of a specific country’s cotton industry. Participants were asked to identify a nation of their choosing and to cite that country’s unique challenges and strategies in the global coton market. The response from the institute’s participants was as impressive as it was informational.
