According to a report by the National Australia Bank, Australia is on track to produce one million tons of cotton this year, potentially making the country the third largest exporter of raw cotton in the world.

Cotton Australia Signs Licensing Agreement with Better Cotton Initiative
Cotton Australia and the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI) have signed an agreement transferring a BCI license to Australian cotton produced under myBMP certification. The agreement represents the first time Australian myBMP-certified cotton can be sold into the global market under the BCI banner.
BCI is an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the responsible and sustainable production of cotton globally.
