ICA, headquartered in Liverpool, is the world’s leading cotton association and an arbitral body for international cotton trade under the ICA Bylaws and Rules. CAI, based in Mumbai, represents all segments of the Indian cotton value chain and has served as India’s arbitral body since 1921.

The newly-signed Memorandum between the organizations formalizes cooperation on several cotton-related matters, including regular exchange of delegations between ICA and CAI, training, information exchange and dissemination, and swift resolution of member issues.
