Raising More Profit Seminars Coming to Tifton and Lubbock in August

Cotton Grower magazine and Bayer CropScience continue their series of Raising More Profit seminars this summer with sessions coming to Tifton, GA on August 19 and to Lubbock, TX on August 26.

The Raising More Profit seminar series was developed to provide growers information on timely topics of interest, as well as tips on profitable cotton production. The series is presented by Bayer CropScience and hosted by Cotton Grower magazine.

The Tifton seminar will be held at the University of Georgia Tifton Campus Conference Center, and will feature presentations on weed and nematode management from Extension specialists Stanley Culpepper and Bob Kemerait.

The Lubbock session, to be held at the Bayer Museum of Agriculture, will feature discussions on water use efficiency by Jim Bordovsky and on emerging weed issues by Wayne Keeling, both with Texas AgriLife Extension and Research.

Bayer specialists and other crop protection experts will provide additional topic detail and information at each meeting. A series of breakout sessions and other interactive discussions on multiple topics will follow the initial morning program.

Each Raising More Profit will each begin at 9:00 am and conclude by 11:30 am, followed by lunch.
