Sanders Expands Missouri Bootheel Operations
October 7, 2015 Jimmy Sanders Incorporated – a subsidiary of Pinnacle Agriculture Holdings, LLC – has acquired the Missouri-based agronomy business of MRM Agricultural Service, LLC and its affiliates.
Located on West Highway 80 in East Prairie, MO, the business will operate under the Sanders brand and provide farm inputs such as seed, crop protection chemicals and fertilizer products, as well as custom application, precision agriculture and scouting services.
Currently ranked in the CropLife 100, MRM was founded in 1964 by Rex Mainord. Over the past 51 years, the Mainord family and its team of dedicated employees have built a well-respected, best-in-class farm input retail operation serving over 600 customers in four states.
MRM is led by Milas Mainord, who will continue to lead the new Sanders operation. Kevin Mainord will serve as Location Manager, with Fielden Laplant serving as Operations Manager.
MRM offers a broad selection of seed varieties, as well as crop protection chemicals. Value-added services include ground application, custom blending of liquid and dry fertilizer, anhydrous ammonia, custom application of agricultural lime, variable rate spreading of lime and fertilizer, grid soil sampling and customized scouting services.

With this acquisition, Sanders now operates 117 retail locations across nine states offering seed, custom fertilizer blends and crop protection products, as well as award-winning OptiGro precision agriculture services.
