Crop Progress: Last Report for 2022

USDA issued its final Crop Progress report for 2022 on Nov. 29, showing that 84% of the U.S. cotton crop has been harvested – up 5 percentage points in the past week and 5 percentage points ahead of the 5-year average for the date.

In all, 13 of the 15 cotton-producing states remain ahead of their respective 5-year averages.

The first weekly report for 2023 will be released on Monday, April 3, 2023.
