Texas Cotton Gin to be Country’s Largest

A $14.5 million addition of a second cotton gin line and press will make the Adobe Walls Cotton Gin in Spearman, TX the largest cotton gin facility in the U.S.

The facility is scheduled to be finished by mid-October, prior to harvest.

Last year, the Adobe Walls facility ginned more than 140,000 bales of cotton, with a value of just under $50 million. The new facility will be 7% larger, allowing the gin to more than double its current production.
