Americot Expands Mid-South Grower Support Team

Americot, Inc. has added Jason Walton, Andy Rowsey, Jason Roberts, David Roberts and Carter Moberley as members of the company’s Mid-South sales group.

“We’ve been working hard to expand our products and customer support in the Mid-South and, with these additions to the team, we’re continuing to fulfil our commitment to growers in this region,” said Chiree Fields, Americot general manager.

Jason Walton joins Americot as a sales representative in the South Delta. He holds a B.S. in Ag Science and a M.S. in Weed Science from Mississippi State University, where his graduate research work focused on the development of weed control programs with Roundup Ready Flex cotton prior to commercial release. He has worked in sales for CPS and with Progeny Ag, and most recently served as a Master Agronomy Advisor partnered with Mid-South Farmers Co-op and Winfield United.

Andy Rowsey’s agricultural career has spanned over two decades, most recently as an agronomist and salesman with Mid-South Farmers Co-op in western Tennessee. A graduate of Mississippi State University, he joins Americot as a North Delta sales representative.

Jason Roberts brings more than 20 years of ag sales and service experience to Americot. A graduate of the University of Arkansas, he has served as an independent crop consultant with TennArk Crop Services, as a sales representative for CPS and as an innovation specialist with BASF. For Americot, he will support customers and growers in the North Delta.

David Roberts will also handle sales in the North Delta for Americot. He earned a degree in Agricultural Business from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, and worked the family farm with his father and brother following graduation. Prior to joining Americot, he worked as a program technician at the Rohwer Research Station, University of Arkansas and as an independent crop consultant covering southeast Arkansas.

Carter Moberley joins Americot as a sales assistant based in Tallulah, LA, supporting the Mid-South team and growers in that area. A graduate of LSU, he worked in sales for UAP and in sales – and as manager – at Sanders, Inc. in Tallulah. He also grows cotton and soybeans on his family farm.
