Americot Adds Sales Team Members, Expands Regional Leadership
November 10, 2021 Americot, Inc. is expanding the company’s cotton seed sales team, adding new staff members and sales regions.
“As Americot continues to expand our presence and add new regions, the addition of new customer support team members allows us to keep our commitment to growers throughout the Cotton Belt, providing industry-leading customer support, highest-quality products, and unwavering dedication to the cotton farmer,” said Chiree Fields, Americot General Manager.
Will Brown joins Americot’s Southeast region team as a sales representative, based in Kingstree, SC. A Clemson graduate, he previously worked with Crop Production Services (Nutrien Ag Solutions) and Meherrin Ag & Chemical Co. He will be supporting Americot growers in southern North Carolina and above the lakes in South Carolina.
Ryan Long, sales representative in the Alabama and Florida Panhandle Region, got his start in agriculture scouting cotton and peanuts in Alabama. A graduate of Auburn University, he was previously in sales for Local Seed Company. He’ll be based in Headland, AL.
Charlcey Plummer has been promoted to regional manager for Americot’s realigned Northern Plains region. She joined Americot in 2019 as a sales representative in the Northern Plains area after serving as a territory manager for Corteva Agriscience. In her new role, she will be supporting growers in Kansas, Northern Oklahoma, and the Panhandle of Texas.
Jerrid Small has rejoined Americot as Eastern regional sales manager, supporting all regions and states east of Texas. Based in Wynne, AR, Jerrid will be supporting sales operations and growers in the eastern and southeastern areas of the United States.
Jason Walton has been promoted to regional manager, leading Americot’s South Delta region. He joined the team in 2017 as a sales representative in the Mid-South. Based in Pontotoc, MS, he will be supporting growers in Mississippi and Louisiana in his new role.
