Americot Adds Three to Sales and Marketing Team
Americot, Inc., a leading supplier of premium cottonseed, has added Lucy Carmichael, Daniel Nix and Dusty Parker to the company’s sales and marketing team.
“Continued growth in West Texas, as well as expansion into new areas necessitates that we add additional resources to support our customers in the region,” said Chiree Fields, Americot general manager. “I’m pleased that Lucy, Daniel and Dusty have joined the team, further demonstrating our commitment to growers by providing the experienced, knowledgeable and dedicated support they have come to rely upon from Americot.”
Carmichael joins Americot as a marketing coordinator, based in Lubbock, supporting the sales teams and customer marketing activities throughout the Cotton Belt. Raised on a cotton and cattle farm in Haskell, TX, she earned a B.A. degree in Advertising, with a minor in Agriculture Communications, from Texas Tech University in 2018.
Nix – previously with Crop Protection Services in Slaton, TX – joins Americot as a sales representative in the company’s South Plains Region, serving growers and customers in the Lubbock County area. Originally from Tolar, TX, he graduated from Tarleton State University in 1994 with a B.S. degree in Plant and Soil Science. He will be based in Gail, TX.
Parker will work as a sales representative based in Lubbock, supporting growers and customers in the Dawson County area. A native of Uvalde, TX, he spent 15 years as a sales rep and branch manager for Helena Chemical Company before joining Americot. He holds a B.S. degree in Agriculture from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University).
