Americot Expands U.S. Sales Team

Americot, Inc., a leading supplier of premium cotton seed, is pleased to announce the addition of three new sales team members to the company, as well as a leadership promotion.

Brett Shrader, Justin Goodman, and Levy Lord join the company as sales representatives. Shane Osborne moves to regional manager of Americot’s Red River Region.

Based in Cleveland, MS, Shrader joins Americot’s South Delta region. A graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, he has spent the last 25 years in the cotton industry in roles ranging from crop consultant to agronomist and operations management. He is specialized in precision ag, soil moisture sensory and crop consultation.

Goodman, a graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, has worked in crop consulting and soil science, as well as managing a commercial cotton gin in South Georgia. He most recently worked as a project/sales manager for Twin Rivers Land and Timber. He’s based in Brooks County, GA, where he will support growers throughout that region.

Lord also joins Americot’s South Delta region, supporting growers in Louisiana. A graduate of Northeast Louisiana University, he spent the last 23 years in fertilizer sales and is certified in ag entomology, ag weed control, and ag field soil management. He is based in Baskin, LA.

Osborne succeeds the recently retired Jerry Montgomery as regional manager of the Red River Region. He has served in sales and agronomic support for Americot since 2017. A Texas Tech graduate with a B.S. in Agricultural Economics and M.S. in Agronomy, he is based in Jackson County, OK.
