CROPLAN Offers Two New Varieties for 2020

Two new CROPLAN Bollgard 3 XtendFlex cotton varieties will be available for planting in 2020.

Both new offerings were rigorously tested in University OVT and on-farm trials to deliver exceptional performance potential to growers:

  • CP9210B3XF – An early-mid maturity smooth leaf variety broadly adapted to early markets, with bacterial blight resistance and good tolerance to Verticillium wilt. Performed well in field trials, with excellent fiber quality for both staple and strength.
  • CP9830B3XF – A full season variety for the lower Mid-South and Southeast, with bacterial blight resistance and some tolerance to Verticillium wilt. Solid performance on irrigated acres, but also fits well on highly productive dryland acres. Improved fiber package (over CP3885B2XF). Responds to PIX applications, but early aggressive management is recommended.

Both varieties will be available in introductory quantities for 2020.
