“Our roots go deep in the fertilizer business, and we are thrilled to provide our world-wide crop experience and top-quality specialty fertilizers to the U.S. and Latin American markets,” said Erik van den Bergh, Managing Director of Van Iperen International. “We combine pioneering technology with our solid expertise and, as part of this, offer a broad range of Liquitint Agro colored formulations that provide distributors an opportunity to differentiate themselves in a competitive marketplace with tailor-made colors for tailor-made NPK formulas.”

From nutrition to biostimulation – and the two combined – Van Iperen offers a range of specialty fertilizers for fertigation and foliar application, developing solutions that help farmers grow more sustainable and profitable crops, even under challenging climatic conditions.

When color is used, Van Iperen works with Milliken’s Liquitint Agro colorants, a non-staining technology that represents a breakthrough in the use of color within agriculture. The colorants provide high chemical stability, easy handling and improved shelf life and coverage – all without use of heavy metals.

“Liquitint Agro colorants make it possible to blend thousands of colors from across the spectrum on demand from only three liquid primary colorants held in inventory,” said Steven Spanhove, Senior Sales Director, Milliken Europe. “This ease of blendability without staining helps formulators address the growing customer demand for color in fertilizers, where we are seeing a trend that deeper and brighter colors represent quality, as well as the preference towards natural and earthy reds, blues and greens.”
