Cheetah Label Amended for Post-Emergence Use in Glufosinate-Resistant Cotton

Cheetah Herbicide has received regulatory approval of amended label language for post-emergence application of Cheetah for weed control across several crops containing glufosinate-resistant genetic traits including cotton, soybeans and corn.

“The new language provides clarity around the use of Cheetah in all crop traits that are tolerant to glufosinate,” said Chris Bowley, Customer and Brand Marketing Manager for Nufarm Americas, Inc. “This goes beyond labeling only for LibertyLink systems, which has been an application limitation for many producers as other glufosinate-tolerant crop traits gain market share.

“Cheetah is also approved as a tank-mix partner for Enlist One herbicide,” he added, “increasing its utility in Enlist crops.”

Nufarm’s new label will help growers comply with regulatory requirements and help retailers manage inventories through Cheetah’s wide range of labeled crop varieties. The new label can be found at Nufarm.com/us.
