TN Applicators Must Have a Copy of 24c Label for Engenia, XtendiMax

University of Tennessee Extension Weed Specialist Larry Steckel is reminding growers and applicators in Tennessee that when they apply Engenia or XtendiMax herbicides, they must have a copy of the state’s 24c label with them.

“A hard copy is preferred,” said Steckel in a UTcrops News Blog post. “Barring that, a downloaded copy onto your iPad, tablet or phone would be better than nothing. Trying to download a copy onto your phone as the TDA inspector pulls into your field is not recommended.”

The 24c labels for XtendiMax are both available online. Steckel suggests that growers and applicators download and print a copy – and read it – before spraying.
