Cotton Market Roundtable Set for October 9

Dr. O.A. Cleveland, Mississippi State University economics professor emeritus and cotton marketing specialist, will lead the Ag Market Network’s Cotton Market Roundtable on Friday, October 9 at 1:30 pm CST.

Joining Cleveland to discuss the latest cotton market news, the impact of agricultural trade with China and the possibility of the U.S. running out of high quality cotton will be:

Jarral Neeper, president of TruCott Commodities
Dr. John Robinson, professor and extension specialist/cotton marketing at Texas A&M University
Kip Butts, senior cotton analyst with IHS-Markit Agribusiness
Pat McClatchy, executive director, Ag Market Network.

Jennifer Crumpler of BASF will also join the panel to discuss e3 certification and traceability of quality U.S. cotton.
