Cotton Cultivated Website Adds Filtered Searches, New Features

A new look and new features have made Cotton Cultivated – Cotton Incorporated’s producer-focused website – an even better resource for America’s cotton producers.

Since its launch in 2015, Cotton Cultivated has become a key tool for the cotton-growing community, allowing quick and easy access to important information. The site provides a portal that integrates videos, downloadable documents, webcasts, and real-time news feeds that have been “cultivated” to reduce the time spent sorting through pages of irrelevant search results.

The refresh of the site now allows users to filter search results by region, season, and production topics. Users can also create a Cotton Cultivated account, allowing them to curate a custom feed based on their specific needs and interests. Creating an account also allows users to save resources for easy access.

Cotton Incorporated also added the ability for users to share information from the site directly to Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, and email – all with the click of a button.

“We redesigned Cotton Cultivated to help improve user experience,” said Dr. Ryan Kurtz, Director of Agricultural Research for Cotton Incorporated. “Once visitors create an account, they will receive customized recommendations about resources available on the site that could be helpful based on their activity on the site.”
