Wildwood Cotton Technologies combines all-natural production of recycled cotton fibers, griege premium cotton fibers, and absorbent cotton raw materials with the oldest – and one of the largest – producer-owned cotton cooperatives in the United States, making the company 100% farmer-owned and farmer-operated. Information about Wildwood Cotton’s wide range of cotton products and services can be found on the company’s new website WildwoodCotton.com.

In announcing the corporate name change, the company also noted that its nonwovens True Cotton line will now be marketed under the name TruCotton.

“We created TruCotton to lead the nonwovens industry into a more sustainable and versatile future,” explains Gary. “The name and brand update represent the steps we are taking to solidify our position as a gamechanger, especially in the diaper, hygiene and medical product categories.”

The brand change reflects its revolutionary cotton cleaning process, which mechanically cleans cotton fiber using zero water, chemicals or process heat. Throughout the process, the fibers maintain their natural waxes and oils, resulting in the first naturally hydrophobic fiber on the market which allows marketers to utilize the Seal of Cotton on all product packaging and marketing.

TruCotton has a cloth-like softness that is 100% biodegradable, compostable and sustainable, offering an ecologically-responsible substitute for synthetic fibers used in fluid management products where dryness is essential. Additional information can be found online at TruCottonFibers.com.
