Georgia Cotton Enterprise Budgets for 2015 Available Online
March 13, 2015 The University of Georgia has posted its 2015 Cotton Enterprise Budgets online to provide guides to cotton growers for planning and decision making.
The estimates were prepared in cooperation with, and input from, the UGA Extension Cotton Team, County Extension Agents, and seed and chemical industry representatives.
Four different Enterprise Budgets are available for review:
2015 Strip Till, Irrigated Cotton Enterprise Budget
2015 Conventional Till, Irrigated Cotton Enterprise Budget
2015 Strip Till, Non-irrigated Cotton Enterprise Budget
2015 Conventional Till, Non-irrigated Cotton Enterprise Budget
Although these estimated budgets were prepared to correspond closely to “typical Georgia farm” situations as possible, university economists remind growers that there can be great variability in yield and costs among individual farms.
